Post the pandemic, there have been studies and stats on why remote work is beneficial and also why it is not. We have a theory at the Agency that remote works allows for better innovation while keeping inclusivity at the forefront. Ultimately, it is about the flexibility and options to work in environments that allow you to be your best self. It is not to discourage in person experiences as they are extremely valuable and irreplaceable. It should not be about guilting people to be in the office rather showing the value of those engagements and benefits when they are necessary.

Here are a few reasons why we choose to leverage remote work at the Agency:

Accessibility to Family

Remote work allows people to spend more time with their families. It also can help with the financial burdens that come along with commuting and other expenses.

Inclusive Workstyles

Remote work also allows for folks to find their working style and adapt to the team and the problems at hand. It can be rewarding and fulfilling to see a team operate cohesively yet to their strengths and interests; this is something remote work provides.

Empowerment of Minorities

The studies show that people of color and women still receive negative backlash more than not in the office than remote work. In a remote setting, microaggressions and hostile work environments can mostly be avoided and the focus becomes on the quality of work not the pre cognitive bias of a person.

Adaptability to the World

When working in a virtual setting, the closeness does not go away, rather it opens up the world to the possibility of being neighbors to folks you may have never crossed paths with in the office. Creating teams with no state or country lines is an exciting place to be.

Freedom to be You

Enough said.
